Playwriting Competition

IMPORTANT UPDATE Saturday 14th February 2026

Due to receiving a significantly higher number of submissions than anticipated we have had to delay the long list announcement until all scripts have been read by our reading panel. We took the decision not to rush the process, as we believe every writer deserves proper consideration.
 
The longlist is now in its final stages of review. We expect to contact all entrants with an outcome update week commencing 2nd March 2026.
 
The development week commencing 18 May 2026 remains scheduled, and the process is continuing.
